We purchased a aerial quad copter a few months back. Not so much with the idea of using it for photos at first but now I am excited at the quality I am getting from it. Here are a few samples.

After a busy day I like sitting on my back porch and playing fetch with my dogs. After they settle down we watch the local birds line up for their version of a soup line. I have the same birds return all the time. The doves line my back fence every day. Every once in a while something new shows up. Here is a bird I have never seen before. It is a "Painted Bushing" and is native to Texas but in all the time I have lived here I have never seen one. At first I thought it was a wild parrot but when I looked closer through the lens I knew it wasn't a parrot.
I read up on them and they are getting to be rare because of over population. They are a small bird but very beautiful. Enjoy!
Every now and then I get out and go plinking with my camera. These were taken with my Fuji X-T1 mirrorless camera. I like being outdoors and shooting stuff that I like but at the same time I try to shoot stock photos that I can use for business purposes. I was passing by the San Jacinto Monument the other day so I took a few photos of the monument and also the USS Texas Battleship. Two important historical pieces of Texas history.
The battle of San Jacinto was fought here for Texas Independence and the monument is a beautiful monument dedicated to the Heros who fought in the battle.
Right across the street is the USS Texas in all her glory. She was the first battleship memorial in the United Sates and she is as beautiful today as she was when she was commissioned in 1914.
Here are a few photos from my adventure.
We photographed another golf tournament last month with one of Houston's legends in basketball again. Here I am with Clyde Drexler who was one of the greatest players to play the game of basketball for the Houston Cougars during his " Phi Slamma Jamma" days and then with the Houston Rockets during their back to back championships in the 90's. He is also a very good golfer and very fun to hang out with. He had me laughing all day.

It's been a busy few weeks around here. The Houston Rodeo is in full swing and we have been very busy.
We were hired to do some private events for a major bank taking photos of some VIP clients that get to have a unique rodeo experience.
We are using our new system where we use an iPad to take their photos and let them instantly send it out to their email, phone or to social media including Instagram.
What makes this unique is no camera is used other than the iPad and it includes their own branding such as logos or photo frames right on the pictures when they are taken. This allows you to get instant advertising or branding of your company right on the pictures. The clients have them in seconds and they are sharing their experience with their family, friends and social media like crazy and this will help get your business or event noticed. Imagine getting your event sponsored by some local or national companies and this will help pay for your event and get them recognized too.
Want or need a photo booth. We also now have a free standing iPad photo kiosk that allows the guest to take their own photo and share it just like above. This technology was developed and used at the Grammy's this year for for all of the celebrities to share their photos with their fans.
We also are using another new product where we shoot their photos with our pro digital camera and yon can also instantly see them on a iPad and share them the same way. This is the best of both worlds because the photo is a super high resolution image and it can be instantly shared.
And for our latest update we are using our newest technology by letting our roving photographers who are out of wi-fi range take photos and they then instantly give the guest a ticket that prints out from a belt worn blue tooth printer. That ticket has a QR code or Bar Code that they can scan and it will take them directly to a web site once it has been uploaded where they can view and download their photos. Cool Stuff!
